BitSight Security Performance Management

BitSight Security Performance Management provides a dynamic Security Rating for the cybersecurity in your organization. The Security Rating is like a credit score. To derive a Security Rating, BitSight Security Performance Management continuously assesses security controls and the remediation of gaps to help organizations meet internal standards and external regulations. BitSight Security Performance Management also provides monitoring, reporting, cyber insurance, supply chain visibility, and financial quantification.

Configuring the Connector for BitSight Security Performance Management

To configure Lucidum to ingest data from BitSight Security Performance Management:

1. Log in to Lucidum.

2. In the left pane, click Connector.

3. In the Connector page, click Add Connector.

4. Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.

5. In the Settings page, enter the following:

   • URL (required): The URL of the BitSight Security Ratings API, for example, https://api.bitsighttech.com

   • API Key (required): BitSight Security Ratings API key

   • Verify SSL. For future use.

6. To test the configuration, click Test.

   • If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.

   • If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
