BMC Helix CMDB
BMC Helix CMDB (previously BMC Atrium CMDB) is a configuration management database (CMDB) that consolidates disparate sources of data into a single view of infrastructure components (hardware, software, and cloud services), their physical and logical relationships, and their relationships to business services.
Configuring the Connector for BMC Helix CMDB
To configure Lucidum to ingest data from BMC Helix CMDB:
Log in to Lucidum.
In the left pane, click Connector.
In the Connector page, click Add Connector.
Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.
In the Settings page, enter the following:
URL (required): The URL of the BMC Atrium CMDB API
Username and Password (required): BMC Atrium CMDB username and password
Source (required): BMC Atrium CMDB API source.
If an AR System server, fill in arsys
If a BMC Atrium Configuration Management Database, fill in cmdb
Verify SSL. For future use.
To test the configuration, click Test.
If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.
If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
