Editing a Chart

Lucidum allows you to edit an existing chart, copy a chart from one dashboard to another, and delete an existing chart from a dashboard.

Editing a Chart

To edit a chart in a dashboard:

1. Log in to your Lucidum system.

2. In the left menu, click Home > Dashboards.

3. In the Channel pane, click the channel where the dashboard lives.

4. Click on the name of the dashboard where the chart lives.

5. In the dashboard, find the chart you want to edit. Click its pencil icon.

6. The Edit Chart page appears:

   

7. In the Edit Chart page, you can edit any of the fields for the chart, including the query.

10. Click Save to save your changes:

    • Update Chart. Applies your changes to the current chart.

    • Save as new chart. Creates a new chart on the current dashboard that includes your changes. The original chart is unchanged.

Copying a Chart

To copy a chart to another dashboard:

1. Log in to your Lucidum system.

2. In the left menu, click Home > Dashboards.

3. In the Channel pane, click the channel where the dashboard lives.

4. Click on the name of the dashboard where the chart lives.

5. In the dashboard, find the chart you want to edit. Click its copy icon.

   

6. The Clone Chart pane appears to the right. Click on a dashboard name to copy the chart to that dashboard.

7. The copied chart now appears in the selected dashboard

Deleting a Chart

To delete a chart:

1. Log in to your Lucidum system.

2. In the left menu, click Home > Dashboards.

3. In the Channel pane, click the channel where the dashboard lives.

4. Click on the name of the dashboard where the chart lives.

5. In the dashboard, find the chart you want to edit. Click its delete icon.

6. In the Delete this Chart dialog, click the checkbox and then click the Delete button.

7. The chart is deleted from the current dashboard.
