HashiCorp Consul
HashiCorp Consul uses service identities and traditional networking practices to help organizations securely connect applications running in any environment. Consul is a service mesh solution providing a full featured control plane with service discovery, configuration, and segmentation functionality. Each of these features can be used individually as needed, or they can be used together to build a full service mesh.
Configuring the Connector for HashiCorp Consul
To configure Lucidum to ingest data from HashiCorp Consul :
Log in to Lucidum.
In the left pane, click Connector.
In the Connector page, click Add Connector.
Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.
In the Settings page, enter the following:
URL (required): The URL of the HashiCorp API server.
API Key (required) - HashiCorp API key. For more details, see https://www.consul.io/docs/commands/acl/token/create.html .
Verify SSL. For future use.
To test the configuration, click Test.
If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.
If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
