What is IP Fabric?
IP Fabric is network infrastructure management platform that provides on-demand network discovery, advanced analytics, and detailed engineering visibility. The discovery capabilities (through SSH or telnet) detect the current network state, including detailed data for each address and port. A network model of gathered data reconstructs the topologies for each switching and routing protocol to enable a cross-technology analysis of upstream and downstream relationships.
Why Should You Use the IP Fabric Connector?
The IP Fabric connector provides visibility into the assets in your environment. You can use this visibility to:
ensure assets are managed per your security policies
derive relationships between assets, users, applications, and data
How Does This Connector Work?
Lucidum executes read-only requests to the IP Fabric REST API and ingests only meta-data about IP Fabric devices. Lucidum does not retrieve any data stored on your assets.
