Jamf Pro

What is Jamf Pro?

Jamf Pro is an enterprise-level Mobile Device Management (MDM) tool that manages and secures Apple devices with advanced tools and integrations.

Why Should You Use the Jamf Pro Connector?

The Jamf Pro connector provides visibility into devices and mobile devices managed by Jamf. You can use this visibility to:

  • ensure Jamf devices are managed per your security policies

  • ensure the latest Jamf agent is installed on each Jamf device

How Does This Connector Work?

Lucidum executes read-only requests to the Jamf REST API and ingests only meta-data about Jamf devices. Lucidum does not share this meta-data with any parties outside of Lucidum.

NOTE: Beginning in version 10.42.0 of Jamf Pro, basic authentication (user name and password) will no longer be enabled by default for the Jamf Pro API. Lucidum Jamf Pro connector will continue to support basic authentication for earlier versions of Jamf Pro. For versions 10.42.0 and later of Jamf Pro, the Lucidum Jamf Pro connector will generate the bearer token from the user name and password supplied in the Lucidum user interface.
