Configuring the Connector for KACE Endpoint Systems Management Applicance

To configure Lucidum to ingest data from KACE Endpoint Systems Management Applicance:

  1. Log in to Lucidum.

  2. In the left pane, click Connector.

  3. In the Connector page, click Add Connector.

  4. Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.

  5. In the Settings page, enter the following:

    • Host (required): The hostname or domain of the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) server

    • User Name (required) - The user name and password for an account that its assigned role is Read-only administrator.

    • Password (required) - The user name and password for an account that its assigned role is Read-only administrator.

    • Organization Name (optional, default: empty) - The organization name. If the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) appliance is configured for multiple organizations, The connection is limited to a single specified organization for the requesting user.

      • If supplied, Lucidum will use the specified organization name when connecting to the host defined for this connection and authenticating the API request.

      • If not supplied, Lucidum will use the "Default" organization name connecting to the host defined for this connection and authenticating the API request.

    • Verify SSL. Future use.

  6. To test the configuration, click Test.

    • If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.

    • If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
