ManageEngine Desktop Central
ManageEngine Desktop Central is a complete Windows Desktop Management solution that provides Software Deployment, Patch Management, Asset Management, Remote Desktop Sharing, Service Pack Deployment, Configurations, Active Directory Reports, User Logon Reports, and Windows System Tools. It is a network-neutral solution that can be used to manage desktops in Active Directory, Workgroups or other directory services-based network like Novell(R) eDirectory. It can manage computers in multiple domains and can also manage computers across WAN (branch offices) while keeping a check on bandwidth too.
Creating an API Token for ManageEngine Desktop Central
Before configuring the ManageEngine Desktop Central connector in Lucidum, you must first create an API Token. Lucidum will use the API Token to access the ManageEngine Desktop Central API.
Go to Admin > API Explorer > Authentication > Login > generate local auth token, as shown below:

Configuring the Connector for ManageEngine Desktop Central
To configure Lucidum to ingest data from ManageEngine Desktop Central:
Log in to Lucidum.
In the left pane, click Connector.
In the Connector page, click Add Connector.
Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.
In the Settings page, enter the following:
Host (required) - The hostname or URL of the MEDC server. For example, https://10.4.100.4:8383/api/1.3
Authentication key (required) - The API key that has the read permission to fetch MEDC assets via the API.
Verify SSL. For future use.
To test the configuration, click Test.
If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.
If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
