NinjaOne RMM
NinjaOne (formerly NinjaRMM) is a security-oriented remote monitoring and management platform. It allows for manual customization as well as scripting and automation.
Creating a Client ID and Client Secret in NinjaOne
Before configuring the NinjaOne RMM connector in Lucidum, you must first create an client ID . Lucidum will use the Client ID to access NinjaOne RMM.
Log in to your NinjaOne instance with a system user that has access to generate API Credentials.
Once logged in, navigate to Configurations on the left-hand side of your instance.
Then, navigate to Integrations under the Configurations options.
Once you are on the Integrations screen, select Client App IDs tab and click add
Make sure you have the same configurations as in below:
Click save and note down the client id and client secret. The client app will use the client id and secret to get the access token by which it will be able to access the Ninjaone RMM endpoints.
Configuring the Connector for NinjaOne RMM
To configure Lucidum to ingest data from NinjaOne RMM :
Log in to Lucidum.
In the left pane, click Connector.
In the Connector page, click Add Connector.
Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.
In the Settings page, enter the following:
URL (required) - The URL of the NinjaOne RMM API, for example, https://app.ninjarmm.com
Client ID (required) -NinjaOne RMM Client ID
Client Secret (required) -NinjaOne RMM Client secret
Verify SSL. For future use.
To test the configuration, click Test.
If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.
If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
