Rumble Network Discovery

Rumble Network Discovery is a cloud-based network discovery platform that identifies and monitors network-connected IT assets.

Creating an API Key for Rumble Network Discovery

Before configuring the Rumble Network Discovery connector in Lucidum, you must first create an API Key. Lucidum will use the API key to access the Rumble Network Discovery API.

1. Navigate to your account settings (needs to be the account admin)

2. Generate a new account API key and paste this value into the Account Key parameter.

   

3. Navigate to https://console.rumble.run/organizations/organizations_api

4. Click the organization for the API key you want.

5. Generate a new API key under the “Export Token” and paste this value into the API Key parameter.

   

6. Generate a new API key under the “Organization API” and paste this value into the API Key parameter (this is optional if the Export API key is already available).

   

Configuring the Connector for Rumble Network Discovery

To configure Lucidum to ingest data from Rumble Network Discovery:

1. Log in to Lucidum.

2. In the left pane, click Connector.

3. In the Connector page, click Add Connector.

4. Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.

5. In the Settings page, enter the following:

   •  URL (required) - The URL of the Rumble Network Discovery server. Default is https://console.rumble.run

     API Key (required) - An Export API Key associated with the organization assets to be fetched.

     Account Key (required) - An Account API Key associated with the users to be fetched.

     Proxy. Enter the IP address:port for the proxy server.

   • Verify SSL. For future use.

6. To test the configuration, click Test.

   • If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.

   • If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
