Snow Software

Snow Software provides Software Asset Management (SAM) and License Management products and services to reduce the risk, cost, and complexity associated with software assets and licensing.

Configuring the Connector for Snow Software

To configure Lucidum to ingest data from Snow Software:

  1. Log in to Lucidum.

  2. In the left pane, click Connector.

  3. In the Connector page, click Add Connector.

  4. Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.

  5. In the Settings page, enter the following:

    •  Snow URL (required) - The hostname or IP address with port of the Snow Software server. For example, 10.10.2.1:81

    • User Name (required) - The credentials for a user account that has the Read Permissions to fetch assets. The username and password for a Snow License Manager (SLM) user account are assigned to the API Users role. User accounts are managed in the Snow Management and Configuration Center.

    • Password (required) - The credentials for a user account that has the Read Permissions to fetch assets. The username and password for a Snow License Manager (SLM) user account are assigned to the API Users role. User accounts are managed in the Snow Management and Configuration Center.

    • Verify SSL. For future use.

  6. To test the configuration, click Test.

    • If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.

    • If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
