Tableau
Tableau is a data visualization tool used for rdata analysis, reporting, and business intelligence for large sets of data.
Configuring the Connector for Tableau
To configure Lucidum to ingest data from Tableau:
Log in to Lucidum.
In the left pane, click Connector.
In the Connector page, click Add Connector.
Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.
In the Settings page, enter the following:
Host (required): The hostname or IP address of the Tableau server
API Token - Tableau API token. The API token should have the required scope of
tableau:users:read
. To obtain an API token, see https://help.tableau.com/current/api/rest_api/en-us/REST/rest_api_get_started_tutorial_part_1.htm .Site ID (required) - The Tableau site ID.
Verify SSL. For future use.
To test the configuration, click Test.
If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.
If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
