Exporting and Importing a Dashboard

Lucidum allows you to export a dashboard for use on another Lucidum system. Lucidum also allows you to import a dashboard from another Lucidum system.

Exporting a Dashboard

To export a dashboard to JSON or PDF:

1. Log in to your Lucidum system.

2. In the left menu, click Dashboards.

3. In the Channel pane, click the channel where the dashboard lives.

4. In the right pane, find the dashboard you want to export. Click the dashboard name.

5. Lucidum loads the dashboard.

6. In the dashboard, click the Download This Dashboard (down arrow) icon.

   

   • Download JSON File. Downloads a JSON file to your local computer. The downloaded file is <dashboard title>.JSON

   • Download PDF File. Downloads a PDF file to your local computer. The downloaded file is <dashboard title>.PDF

Importing a Dashboard

If you have a .json file from an exported dashboard, you can use that .json file to create a new dashboard.

1. Log in to your Lucidum system.

2. In the left menu, click Dashboards.

3. Find the channel where you want the dashboard to reside.

4. Click plus-sign next to the channel name.

   

    

5. In the Add Dashboard dialog, enter the following:

   

   • Dashboard Name. Enter a name for the dashboard.

   • Description. An optional description of the dashboard.

   • Click To Upload a JSON File. Allows you to navigate to a JSON file for import.

   • Click Create to create the new dashboard
